Our growing herd of bison consists of a variety of age groups from newborn calves that are born on the farm in the spring and early summer, to mature breeding animals that have been with us from the start.  The bison are helping us to transition farm fields from grass seed production into perennial prairie pastures.  These pastures use no till and no spray principles in line with organic production.  The bison are primarily fed from these pastures along with essential minerals and supplements.
